COPD Management

How do stem cells allow regenerative mechanisms to thrive?

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), is a chronic lung disease that includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema, both of which make it hard to breathe. This disease is fairly common and may be preventable and treatable. However, the progression of the condition may cause a disabling state and diminish the quality of life of many patients suffering from this condition. The main symptom will be the shortness of breath, especially after physical activity progressing to a difficult state for breathing with the requirement of supplementary oxygen. Due to the harm and reactiveness of the tissue, there is an increased inflammatory response in patients with COPD that may contribute to the final summation of symptoms.

COPD may have several symptoms, which include:

  • Difficulty breathing.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Cough with increased production of mucus.
  • Wheezing.
  • Chest tightness.

Mesenchymal stem cells have immunomodulatory properties that may downregulate an inflammatory response and improve the environment for the natural healing components of the body to work allowing the pro-regenerative mechanisms to thrive. We do not offer a cure or final solution to your problem, however we may improve your symptoms and your quality of life.

Application type:

Our administration route is an Intravenous application of mesenchymal stem cells. This is simply because we have found improvements with this route.
